GSE Motorized Technicians

Job Summary

The GSE Motorized Technicians will be responsible for the effective maintenance and repair of motorized Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role contributes to the overall efficiency of aviation operations by ensuring that GSE systems are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on motorized GSE, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, steering, and hydraulic systems.

• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to assess performance of GSE systems.

• Follow all relevant technical instructions to ensure maintenance is conducted consistently.

• Perform minor modifications using specialized tools, test equipment, and maintenance procedures.

• Demonstrate competence in EAM systems and write detailed reports on GSE condition.

• Craft and manage work orders for GSE servicing and repair.

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as scheduled.

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and spare part usage.

• Ensure availability and correct use of tools, equipment, and spare parts.

• Stay updated on advancements in GSE technology and implement improvements where applicable.

• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company guidelines during maintenance.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve complex technical issues.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Advanced knowledge of GSE systems and components.

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and executing preventive maintenance.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Certifications in GSE maintenance are preferred.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in GSE maintenance.

• Prior experience with motorized equipment in an aviation environment is preferred
