Marketing Executive

A growing startup business in Accra is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Marketing Executive to join its team. The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of marketing activities aimed at increasing brand awareness, attracting customers, generating leads, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing activities to promote the company’s products and services.
• Identify potential customers, markets, and business opportunities.
• Conduct market research and monitor customer and competitor trends.
• Support the development of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Manage and grow the company’s social media presence.
• Create and coordinate marketing content for social media, WhatsApp, websites, and other platforms.
• Generate and follow up on leads to support sales and business development.
• Assist with customer engagement and relationship-building activities.
• Participate in promotional events, networking activities, and other marketing initiatives.
• Track marketing activities and prepare basic reports on leads, customer engagement, and campaign performance.
• Work closely with management and other team members to achieve business growth objectives.
• Perform other marketing-related duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant marketing experience.
• Good understanding of basic marketing and sales principles.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use social media platforms for business promotion.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing and content creation.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with social media marketing.
• Basic knowledge of Canva or other content-design tools.
• Knowledge of WhatsApp Business and digital lead generation.
• Experience in customer acquisition, sales, or business development.
• Ability to create engaging marketing content.
• Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, or other digital platforms.
